Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Workday technical strategy, architecture, and solution design across HCM, and/or integrations.
- Partner with Product Owners and Business Analysts to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain Workday configurations, integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio), and custom reports (Advanced, Matrix, Composite).
- Ensure adherence to performance, security, compliance, and governance best practices within the Workday environment.
- Oversee CI/CD pipelines and Workday-specific deployment tools (e.g., Workday’s Enterprise Interface Builder, PECI/Inbound integrations).
- Act as a technical escalation point, providing hands-on support to developers and integration consultants when needed.
- Conduct code and configuration reviews, define technical standards, and drive continuous improvement across teams.
- Collaborate with offshore teams and system integrators, ensuring seamless coordination across time zones and delivery units.
- Align Workday solutions with Enterprise Architecture, Security, and IT Governance standards.
- Contribute to cross-functional IT transformation initiatives, bringing Workday best practices and innovations to the table.
- Be an active member of the Technical Leadership community, fostering synergies with other technology streams.
- Stay current with Workday product releases and recommend the adoption of relevant new features and technologies.
- Champion innovation and continuous improvement based on emerging trends in HR technologies.
Who You Are:
- At least 8+ years of Workday experience, including at least 3 years in a technical leadership role.
- Proven expertise in Workday HCM, and/or Integrations, including EIB, Core Connectors, Absence, Compensation, XSLT, Workday Extend, and Report Writer.
- Deep understanding of Workday architecture, integrations, security, data model, and performance optimization techniques.
- Experience with deployment pipelines, change management tools.
- Experience in Greenfield Workday implementations and/or migration from legacy systems to Workday.
- Ability to effectively manage and collaborate with offshore delivery teams.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
Nice to have:
- Workday HCM/Financials Certified
- Workday Integration Certified
- Knowledge of Workday Studio
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Agile delivery methodologies.
- Certifications or experience with DevOps for Workday or third-party integration tools.
- Knowledge of Workday Extend for custom application development is a strong plus.
