Responsibilities

1. Serve as a subject matter expert in a variety of strategic, high-impact projects from strategic planning through stabilization with no supervision.
2. Provide subject matter expertise regarding key process decisions related to industry and areas of expertise.
3. Lead multiple concurrent large, complex Workday solutions and projects for a global customer base. Design, configure, test, and implement business requirements across multiple Workday Financial module(s).
4. Manage the project scope, quality, timeline, communication, and overall delivery. Provide oversight, guidance, instruction, learning opportunities, and coaching to team members.
5. Conduct working sessions with clients to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements. Assess actual client needs and propose recommendations and/or alternative solutions to meet client goals. Advise clients on best practices, recognize, and recommend process improvements, and implement system enhancements.
6. Consult to touch points, dependencies, and integration aspects across multiple area(s) of Workday to provide a comprehensive solution to clients.
7. Understand different country regulatory and statutory requirements and how these can be met with Workday.
8. Lead portions of client sales meetings as a Subject Matter Expert; scope potential projects for area(s) of expertise.
9. Work across internal teams and clients to identify and resolve all issues that may impact project scope and/or Go Live; ensure alignment across project plans and allocated budgets.
10. Frequently discuss and articulate lessons learned from previous experience, Workday best practices, and Kognitiv's Point of View.
11. Strive to innovate and suggest new approaches to deploy Workday efficiently and effectively.
12. Contribute to the organization's knowledge management repository through formal and informal avenues (ex: Q&A, documented deliverables, facilitation of Workday knowledge sharing sessions, regularly posting best practices, etc).
13. Act as a mentor and coach for less experienced team members.
14. Meet key performance indicators set for this role (ex: utilization target, service level agreements, customer satisfaction scores, etc).
15. Work in a fast-paced environment that requires tasks to be completed quickly and accurately.

Please note

1. Deeper FDM and P2P skillsets will be the most beneficial as those are included in most if not all financials implementations for clients.
2. If the candidate knows the tax area of Workday that would be hugely beneficial because of the complexity in Europe and in Workday - this is a very hard skillset to find however.

Qualifications

1. 6+ years' experience as a consultant leading and deploying Workday implementations or supporting Workday Post-Production / AMS Services.
2. Deep knowledge of Workday Core Financials/Security/Reporting as well as two additional modules (Procurement, Suppliers, Projects. Expenses, FDM/Financial Accounting with Advanced Financial Reporting, Customers and Customer Billing, Education and Government, Prism, BIRT).
3. Ability to lead workstream(s) on large scale projects (acquisition, phase X, etc) for the full project lifecycle – from initial scoping/planning, discovery, design, testing, and go live.
4. Broad business and technology understanding and a deep awareness of industry trends in Enterprise Resource Planning, Accounting, and/or Financials.
5. Proven ability to influence a wide variety of audiences, including clients, employees, and executive management.
6. Demonstrated commitment and achievement to delivery excellence and client satisfaction; strong client focus with the ability to understand client needs and build relationships.
