Workday HCM Consultant
Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in Workday HCM and Recruiting implementations, from requirements gathering through deployment and post-production support.
- Configure Workday Recruiting, including job requisition templates, candidate pipelines, job application flows, offer management, and onboarding integrations.
- Configure and test Core HCM business processes such as staffing, job profiles, organizations, positions, and compensation components.
- Collaborate with clients to document business requirements, translate them into Workday solutions, and validate configurations through testing and UAT.
- Serve as a functional SME for Recruiting and Core HCM during implementation and AMS engagements.
- Develop calculated fields, condition rules, and custom reports to support client needs.
- Partner with technical teams for integrations, data conversions, and reporting deliverables.
- Provide ongoing production support and troubleshooting post go-live.
- Stay current with Workday releases, feature updates, and industry trends to provide strategic recommendations to clients.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on Workday HCM configuration experience.
- Proven experience implementing or supporting Workday Recruiting (Talent Acquisition).
- Strong understanding of HCM business processes, organizational structures, and staffing models.
- Experience with testing, UAT, and end-user training.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Workday certification(s) in HCM Core or Recruiting strongly preferred.
