SAP HCM Payroll Senior Consultant

Work you’ll do/Responsibilities

1. As a Senior Consultant, you will work with diverse global clients across a wide range of industries. You will have a variety of client facing responsibilities such as diagnosing issues using advanced analytical techniques, interviewing staff, formulating and making recommendations, and helping clients implement proposed solutions
2. Organize and facilitate problem-solving discussions with the client, internal operations team, to resolve issues and maintain operations continuity.
3. Evaluate error/gaps reported in the payroll landscape to provide workarounds and final fixes in the systems.
4. Analyze current business processes and requirements, assess SAP possibilities, and discuss recommendations with business process owners.
5. Work with the business users to identify their requirements, design enhancements and functionality to help meet user requirements.
6. Performs configuration (customizing) work as needed to support new and existing functionality
7. Responsible for reviewing the unit test plans and the quality assurance plans.

Qualifications Required:

1. 6-10+ years of consulting and/or industry experience
2. Completion of coursework (Egresado) in any pertinent field or industry
3. Responsible for supporting and leading project workstreams and/or teams
4. Identifies key drivers, defines problems and proposes solutions
5. Advanced English level
6. +6 years of experience in SAP Payroll Module
7. Experience in Supporting US Payroll processes in any of the following topics:
8. Ordinary payroll and off-cycle payroll processes Payroll Schema and Calculation Rules
9. Payroll Features and Operations
10. Payroll Forms and Remuneration statement
11. Cumulation Wage Types
12. Retroactive Calculation
13. Accruals
14. Gross to Net
15. Data Medium Exchange
16. Garnishment and Benefits
17. Evaluation for posting to accounting
18. Strong knowledge of Time Management in any of the following:
19. Day processing of Time Data
20. Absences
21. Compensation time quota
22. Overtime and reduced working week
23. Time Wage Valuation
24. Strong analytical/problem-solving ability
25. Excellent written and oral communication skills
26. Ability to work in teams and interact across all levels.

Preferred

1. Solid understanding of ABAP foundations and Technical Integrations (Debugging, and Job Scheduling)
2. Certification in SAP HCM or EC Payroll Module
