Project Duration
This role requires full-time onsite work in Mexico City (5 days per week).
What This Role Involves
- Act as a Workday HCM subject matter expert for various HRIS modules or functional areas such as Core HCM, Talent, Compensation, Security, and Learning, actively contributing to the design, planning, and support of Workday.
- Offer technical and architectural guidance for Workday integrations with both internal and third-party systems.
- Have hands-on experience with the full integration lifecycle, from solution design and standards definition to deployment and production support.
- Work with IT support and business teams to coordinate and communicate issue resolution.
- Analyze, design, and maintain Workday system configurations to ensure they meet user needs.
- Complete assigned tasks within the time allocated by the project manager.
- Participate in all phases of the SDLC, from project execution to post-production support.
- Design and prototype solutions, presenting options when necessary.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across teams to ensure timely completion and assess team readiness.
- Effectively manage multiple tasks and projects at once, prioritize responsibilities, and adapt well in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with the team to analyze the impact of new Workday versions and recommend new features for further exploration.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of IT experience is required
- Minimum 5 years of Workday experience is required
- Experience performing data loads and audits of complicated data
- Comprehension and proficiency of Software as a Service (Saas) design, configuration, and testing in various areas of Workday (Business Process and system configuration; Domain and Business Process Security Policies; Custom Objects; Calculated Fields; Experience with Simple, Advanced, Matrix, and Composite Reporting desirable; and Exposure to Workday Studio, EIB and Core connector Integrations desirable)
- Ability to prioritize work and deliver in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to drive for results in challenging conditions
- Ability to execute and adjust a plan with independence
- Ability to initiate and implement innovative process improvements
- Ability to communicate in a clear and open manner through verbal, written, and non-verbal methods, to all levels of the organization
- Strong attentional to detail, organized
- Global experience a plus
- Experience across multiple functional areas is desired; specific areas of interest include HCM Core, Talent, Compensation, Learning
Preferred Qualification
- Workday certification preferred but not required.
Education Requirements
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in information science, computer science, business or equivalent work experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of IT-relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree.
- OR 7+ years of IT-relevant work experience without a Bachelor’s degree.
