We are currently recruiting an ABAP Senior developer for one of our major DACH clients with global footprint. We are searching someone who is a proactive and collaborative developer and who has experience working with business users supporting and adapting reliable, consistent and fit to purpose HR applications.
In addition to the tasks common to all Strada employees, the specific tasks for this position are:
- Design, develop, and maintain complex SAP solutions using ABAP, SmartForms, SAPscripts, WebDynpro, Interafces and workflows.
- Solve advanced technical issues across the SAP landscape, optimize performance, and implement enhancements that align with customer needs and business goals.
- Collaborate with functional teams on solution design and documentation, defining data models, application flows, and ensuring solutions are scalable and maintainable.
- Contribute to service and platform improvements by promoting best practices, reusable components, and innovative approaches that enhance quality and efficiency.
- Ensure effective task management and profitability tracking, with a structured approach to project execution and continuous service optimization.
Required Skills Experience:
- 6–8 years of SAP ABAP development experience, ideally within complex HCM or Payroll environments.
Desired Education
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Technical Expertise
- Deep understanding of SAP architecture and ABAP programming.
- Experience with SmartForms, SAPscripts, workflows, and database design.
- Familiarity with SAP HCM and Fiori is a strong advantage.
- Solid grasp of software development best practices, performance optimization, and risk mitigation.
Soft Skills & Leadership
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Customer-oriented mindset with a proactive, solution-driven approach.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus.
