Workday HCM Consultant
Location: Fully remote from Europe
Employment Type: Contract, 6 months Initial
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to Workday HCM transformation initiatives, supporting activities from initial strategy through execution.
- Lead one or more Workday HCM functional streams during implementation and enhancement initiatives.
- Gather, analyse, and challenge business requirements, providing guidance aligned with Workday best practices.
- Design, standardise, and optimise HR business processes to support organisational needs.
- Configure and test Workday HCM modules in line with agreed designs and requirements.
- Act as an HR and Workday subject matter advisor throughout implementation and optimisation phases.
- Support deployment, stabilisation, and hypercare activities following go-live.
- Collaborate effectively within multi-disciplinary teams across functional and technical domains.
Required Skills & Experience
- Master’s degree in Industrial & Organisational Psychology, (Applied) Economics (HRM), Commercial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in Workday HCM configuration.
- Completion of at least one end-to-end Workday implementation (design, configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare).
- Strong understanding of HR processes and system-enabled process desing.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills and comfort working in diverse, international environments.
- Eagerness to continuously learn and take on new challenges.
