Workday Human Capital Management - (Freelance) - Remote, Spain

Workday HCM - Time and Absence Developer to design, configure, develop, and support the Workday Time Tracking and Absence Management modules within our HCM system

Location: 100% remote for people based in Spain

We would only be interested in Freelance professionals.

High english level is required.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Configure and maintain the Workday Time Tracking and Absence Management modules, including:
2. o Time entry templates, time calculation rules
3. o Absence accrual policies, eligibility rules o Time off plans, leave of absence types
4. Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot business processes, condition rules, validations, and calculations.
5. Collaborate with functional teams (HR, Payroll, IT) to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Workday solutions.
6. Work with integration teams to support data flow between Workday and external timekeeping/payroll systems (e.g., Kronos, ADP).
7. Support Workday bi-annual releases by testing new features and evaluating potential impacts on current configurations.
8. Monitor ongoing performance of time tracking and absence modules, resolving issues as they arise.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. 4+ years of hands-on experience with Workday HCM, specifically in Time Tracking and Absence Management modules.
2. Strong understanding of Workday Studio, calculated fields, condition rules, and business process frameworks.
3. Experience configuring: Time Calculation Rules, Work Schedules and Calendars, Accruals and Eligibility Rules
