Overview

We are seeking a skilled SAP HCM Payroll Lead with in-depth experience in German payroll and time regulations. This is a pivotal role supporting the end-to-end implementation and ongoing management of SAP payroll solutions, focused on driving efficiency and compliance within complex systems environments.

Core Responsibilities

Configuration & Localisation

1. Capture and document payroll configuration and localization information
2. Identify deviations from standard product and processes
3. Submit payroll system setup requests
4. Coordinate the configuration of payroll solutions with the GTAS team
5. Validate payroll systems and integrations through SIT execution

Testing & Validation

1. Perform comprehensive data validations within the payroll system
2. Coordinate and manage defect resolution in collaboration with GTAS
3. Support user acceptance testing (UAT), parallel testing, and data validations across systems (HRIS, PEX, Payroll)

Knowledge Transfer & Support

1. Transfer knowledge to GTAS for ongoing payroll solution maintenance
2. Support HRO teams with solution understanding and post-go-live activities
3. Facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding for global and local teams

Project & Stakeholder Coordination

1. Estimate workloads and align with OR lead and ITCAM for recurring impacts
2. Support project kick-offs and provide input to project plans
3. Assist in data mapping and integration issue resolution
4. Coordinate data migration processes with internal and external teams
5. Track and manage transport/configuration replications across environments
