Workday Functional Consultant

Key Responsibilities

1. Support the end-to-end implementation of Workday’s HCM suite (such as Core HCM, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, or Benefits).
2. Translate client business requirements into functional designs and Workday configurations.
3. Build and present prototype solutions to demonstrate how Workday can meet client needs.
4. Apply Workday’s proven implementation methodology on every engagement.
5. Contribute to the development of internal tools, templates, and accelerators that improve project delivery.
6. Foster trusted relationships with customers by providing clear communication, proactive guidance, and a solutions-oriented approach.

About You

1. You are detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about helping organizations transform through technology. You enjoy problem-solving, working with data, and collaborating in a team-driven environment.

Basic Qualifications

1. 2+ years of functional experience with at least one of the following HCM areas: Core HCM, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, or Benefits.
2. Prior consulting experience—either within a professional services firm or as an internal consultant or SME

Other Qualifications

1. Experience implementing or supporting enterprise systems such as Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP, Ultimate, or similar.
2. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
3. Strong business analysis, requirements gathering, and problem-solving skills.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication in English; Spanish/English bilingual preferred.
5. Ability to learn new technology quickly through structured and self-directed learning.
6. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results under pressure.
7. Willingness and ability to obtain Workday Certification.
8. Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously is a plus.
