This individual contributor role involves working closely with the Workday Manager, key HR and recruitment stakeholders, and the global Workday team to ensure the system is effectively configured to support HR, payroll, recruitment, and other critical processes.
With proficiency in at least two Workday modules and previous or current Workday certification, you will focus on managing change requests, annual activities, and system enhancements. Your responsibilities include troubleshooting issues, identifying automation opportunities, and supporting the existing team within the ticketing system. By leveraging your technical and functional expertise, you will help maximize Workday’s functionality to improve overall business processes and efficiency.
Primary Responsibilities
- Partner with the Workday IT Owner to streamline processes across all AML RightSource locations.
- Assist in the implementation of new Workday features and modules to enhance system functionality.
- Oversee system upgrades while ensuring effective communication with Workday users.
- Research and resolve complex HRIS-related challenges, including reporting needs, integration issues, and business process improvements.
- Identify and implement automation solutions to improve efficiency.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system errors, document solutions, prioritize issues, and assess their impact.
- Support data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures within Workday.
- Collaborate with HR Workstream, Technical Workstream, Recruiting, and IT Operations to ensure scalable and efficient solutions.
- Provide support to project managers, solution architects, process owners, and SMEs to ensure Workday HCM solutions are functionally and technically viable.
- Assist business users in maintaining and updating data, tables, lists, and configurable items within Workday.
- Evaluate solution recommendations from both functional and technical perspectives.
- Train Workday team members to enhance system knowledge and capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Business fluency in English.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with at least two Workday modules, such as HCM, Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence Management, or Recruiting.
- Current or previously held Workday Certification.
- Strong understanding of Workday implementation tools, methodologies, and HR processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data within Workday.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- High level of security awareness and user-friendly approach.
