As an SAP Mexico Payroll Functional Consultant, you will be key in ensuring all client configuration requirements are correct. You will have ownership for the technical and functional implementation of client projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional work-streams to provide support and guidance for data migrations and operational activities.

Responsibilities

1. Partnering with our clients to understand their current payroll requirements to propose effective Alight solutions
2. Understanding client business issues and constraints and recommend the best solutions
3. Leading the Solution design, review and alignment of deliverables to ensure we deliver on-time and in-scope
4. Providing subject matter expertise for all SAP payroll related technical and functional issues in the country
5. Partnering with internal cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery
6. Capture and document client requirements as appropriate and create the relevant work packages according the agreed signed of solutions
7. Ensure that lessons learned activities from a functional and technical point of view are completed
8. Provide deliverables and project objectives to functional and technical resources assigned to the project
9. Document any deviations from alight standards and report them to the project team
10. Provide subject matter expertise to all technical and functional resources assigned in the project
11. Act as the primary escalation point within the project for all project issues related to functional implementation
12. Implementation Standards and Thought Leadership
13. Mentoring project resources
14. Support the Sales and Pre-Sales teams where needed
15. Working with payroll implementation team on the build of the system

Requirements

1. Demonstrate exceptional SAP Payroll Functional and Technical implementation and configuration experience
2. Have extensive experience leading a project team delivering SAP Payroll implementations for country specific clients
3. Have an exceptional understanding of country specific Payroll legislation and practices
4. Have experience in a consulting role within a payroll technology environment
5. Demonstrate excellent analytical capabilities and have an eye for detail
6. Be highly organized and able to prioritize effectively in a fast-moving environment
7. Be a natural communicator and have the ability to build successful relationships with clients and teams
8. Have excellent written and verbal skills in English (desirable)
