Senior SAP SF Onboarding Consultant
Responsibilities
- Understand the interaction and data flow between SAP modules and downstream external systems such as payroll
- Manage Role-Based Permissions and ensure appropriate access levels for users
- Configure Provisioning settings, activate features, and create and execute jobs within the system
- Diagnose and resolve system errors by analyzing logs and timestamps
- Create and manage complex business rules to meet client-specific requirements
- Follow language translation requirements for global implementations
- Build custom processes, email notifications, and custom tasks to enhance onboarding workflows
- Map and load PDF forms to system fields using PDF editor tools
- Fully test all configurations before handing them over to the line of business (LOB) or customers
- Translate customer business needs into clear and actionable configuration requirements
- Recommend alternative configuration options to meet business objectives
- Adhere to the SAP Activate Methodology, project plans, and workbook requirements to ensure successful project deliverables
- Set clear expectations regarding deliverables, timelines, and follow-through on commitments
- Demonstrate a continuous learning mindset by researching solutions to problems and sharing knowledge with the team
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to address configuration challenges and work toward common solutions
- Present system configurations to customers and conduct demos confidently
- Test configurations to ensure alignment with customer requirements
- Manage multiple project requests from various sources, including project managers, line of business, and offshore teams
- Maintain strong time management skills and provide clear updates on project status to team members
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in SAP SuccessFactors, with a focus on SAP SF Employee Central and SAP SF Onboarding
- Deep understanding of the interaction and data flow between SAP modules and external systems such as payroll
- Experience working in Provisioning, including activating features, creating jobs, and executing them
- Ability to diagnose and resolve errors using system logs and timestamps
- Proficiency in designing and implementing complex business rules
- Familiarity with language translation requirements for global solutions
- Experience creating custom processes, email notifications, and tasks to enhance workflows
- Skilled in mapping and loading PDF forms to system fields using PDF editor tools
- Ability to test configurations thoroughly to ensure alignment with requirements
- Strong analytical skills to translate customer business needs into technical configuration requirements
- Ability to recommend alternative configuration approaches to achieve desired outcomes
- Knowledge of SAP Activate Methodology and project management practices
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and customers effectively
- Comfortable presenting system configurations and conducting demos for customers
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple project requests and provide timely updates
- Fluent English proficiency, both written and spoken, at a B2+ level or higher
