Senior Workday HCM Engineer
The Work You’ll Do:
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable features for Workday HCM, Time Tracking, Absence, Talent & Performance, Advanced Compensation, Learning, People Analytics, and Peakon.
- Act as a trusted partner to stakeholders—gathering requirements, proposing solutions, and integrating cross-functional needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, service requests, and technical issues on the platform.
- Evaluate and improve existing solutions, recommending technical enhancements to meet evolving business needs.
- Provide regular updates on project status, task priorities, and implementation complexity.
- Mentor and educate peers on best practices, functionality, and cross-platform dependencies.
- Collaborate closely with the ServiceNow team, Workday Finance team, and IT infrastructure teams, to design and implement cross-platform solutions and integrations.
The qualifications you need:
- 3-5+ years of hands-on technical experience in Workday HCM, with specialization in one or more functional areas.
- Advanced-level knowledge of Workday business process configuration, security, report writing, calculated fields, and EIBs
- Demonstrated capacity to quickly grasp and support multiple functional areas
- Strong business acumen with a passion for engaging stakeholders and understanding their needs.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex Workday functionality to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
