Workday (HCM) Integration SME
Key Responsibilities
Integration & Technical Support
- Serve as the primary support resource for Workday integrations, including EIB, Studio, and Core Connectors.
- Maintain and enhance inbound/outbound data exchanges with vendors (Payroll, Benefits, Time, GL, Tax, Learning, etc.).
- Troubleshoot integration errors and coordinate resolution across HR, Payroll, and IT.
- Maintain data integrity, perform audits, and document integration changes.
Payroll (U.S. and U.K.)
- Support configuration and validation of Payroll components for U.S. and U.K. populations.
- Perform payroll testing, gross-to-net reconciliation, and off-cycle validation.
- Manage PECI and Cloud Connect integrations for Payroll and Benefits.
- Partner with Payroll Operations to ensure accurate and timely pay cycles.
HCM, Absence, Compensation, Performance & Talent
- Configure and maintain Absence Management (eligibility, accruals, time-off plans).
- Support Advanced Compensation cycles (bonus, merit, stock) and compensation statements.
- Manage Performance & Talent processes, including goal setting, reviews, and succession planning.
- Provide ongoing issue resolution and continuous improvement of HCM business processes.
Learning & Development
- Administer Workday Learning, including content setup, campaigns, and user access.
- Partner with stakeholders to manage compliance learning and employee development initiatives.
- Ensure content consistency, completion tracking, and reporting accuracy.
Workday Release Management & Testing
- Participate in quarterly release readiness activities (impact analysis, validation testing).
- Maintain test scripts, regression testing documentation, and defect tracking logs.
- Support Workday Test Automation (WTA) or other testing tools as applicable.
- Coordinate with the Senior Analyst to evaluate new functionality and recommend adoption strategies.
Qualifications
- 3–6 years of progressive Workday experience spanning multiple modules (Integrations, Payroll, HCM, Compensation, Learning, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with Workday Studio, EIB, and Core Connectors.
- Strong understanding of Payroll (U.S./U.K.) configuration, HCM business processes, and Absence/Compensation frameworks.
- Experience supporting Workday Learning and quarterly release management cycles.
- Workday certifications in Integration, HCM, Payroll, or Learning preferred.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
